Architecture and the courtyard
The starting point of the design work of the top international architect Steven Holl has been the creation of favorable views and different yard areas that are proportionate in scale. The impressive curves are born in the exact same way as the river that gave its name to the bends of the house. The building has curved around its internal function and the organic beauty of the shape is a consequence of this.

A balcony area that surrounds the wood trim and filters light
The apartments are characterized by a spacious and light-filled atmosphere. The spaces open up to the landscape through tall windows and wide sliding glass doors on the balconies. An interior designer has selected harmonious, matching materials from our concept collection for the apartments.
High-quality landscape design that completes the whole
The main starting points for Meander’s yard plan are the human-scale lines that interact with the building and the desire to provide a variety of places to relax in the middle of everyday life. Ease of use has also been taken into consideration.
The courtyard is very park-like and offers both long lines of view and a variety of intimate picnic areas. Even if there are a lot of people in the yard, you can find your own peaceful place under a tree or on the lawn, in the sun or shade.
A courtyard inviting for play and relaxation
The courtyard offers a planting bed for residents, a versatile play area, a pergola, benches and tables, as well as striking concrete seating blocks. There’s also a sheltered cooling area for the sauna. Biodiversity is a key theme, with dynamic planting areas featuring a wide variety of plant species, creating a rich environment with blooms at different times. This approach is also used in the rain garden, planted primarily with native species.
