Architecture and the courtyard

The starting point of the design work of the top international architect Steven Holl has been the creation of favorable views and different yard areas that are proportionate in scale. The impressive curves are born in the exact same way as the river that gave its name to the bends of the house. The building has curved around its internal function and the organic beauty of the shape is a consequence of this.

Architecture that respects the environment of the area

The starting point of the design work of the top international architect Steven Holl has been the creation of favorable yard areas and different yard areas that are proportionate in scale. The result is a complete work of art that is thoughtfully linked to its environment and the cycle of the sun.

The atmosphere of the apartments is characterized by space and light. The spaces open onto the landscape through high windows and wide sliding glass doors to the balconies. The resident can finish their home to look their own by choosing from the curated interior design options.

High-quality landscape design that completes the whole

The main starting points for Meander’s yard plan are the human-scale lines that interact with the building and the desire to provide a variety of places to relax in the middle of everyday life. Ease of use has also been taken into consideration.

The courtyard is very park-like and offers both long lines of view and a variety of intimate picnic areas. Even if there are a lot of people in the yard, you can find your own peaceful place under a tree or on the lawn, in the sun or shade.

There is a planting pool for the use of the residents in the yard, a versatile playground, a pergola, benches and tables, as well as inviting, concrete seating platforms. There is also a sheltered sauna cooling area in the yard.

Biodiversity, diversity, is also an important theme in yard design. The yard has dynamic planting areas where a wide variety of plant species are planted. This creates a diverse environment with flowering plants at different times of the year. Dynamic planting has also been used in stormwater basin plantations, which consist mainly of native wild plants.
